The HTC Desire, a smart phone developed by the HTC Corporation, was released in Europe and Australia during the second quarter of 2010. It runs on the latest incarnation of the Android operating system, Version 2.2 "Froyo". Its 3.7 inch WVGA resolution ratio AMOLED touch screen is equipped with a multi-point touch function and has 576MB of runtime memory for higher speeds.
The Desire is powered by a 1 GHz ARMv7 "Snapdragon" processor and includes a 5 mega-pixel auto-focus camera with an optical track-pad. Additionally, HTC's phone offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS navigation capabilities bolstered by a 1400 MAH battery.
