Queen Rania of Jordan is the wife of King Abdullah II of Jordan. Her husband ascended in 1999, and proclaimed her Queen in the same year. As the current Queen consort of Jordan, Rania ranked 76th in a 2009 list of the 100 most powerfully influential women in the world.

In Jordan, her work concentrates on the quality of education for Jordanian children, while abroad she advocates for global education. Her co-authored book once went to the top of the New York Times Bestseller List for children's books.

90 percent of respondents saw the Queen of Jordan to Number Two. She is still as gorgeous as ever at 40.
