It was designed by Nick Faldo, a professional English golfer who won three Open Championships and three Masters titles. The club covers 135 hectares and includes an 18-hole international standard golf course, clubhouse, driving range and is nestled in a high-end residential area. The course is unique for using white stones instead of sand, while the club has hosted competitions including Volvo China Open in 2006.
