Born in Taoyuan, Taiwan in 1956, Larry H.P. Lang is a famed corporate governance and financial expert, focusing his research on corporate supervision and administration, project financing, direct investment, enterprise reshuffling, merging and acquisitions, and bankruptcy. He received his Ph.D. degree in Corporate Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, U.S. in 1986.
Lang once worked as a consultant on corporate governance projects for the World Bank and on WTO/ banking issues for the OECD. He is now Chair Professor of Finance at the Faculty of Business Administration of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His "Larry H.P.
