Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Beijing. Pick up travelers at the Beijing Capital Airport by our driver, then transfer to traveler’s hotel for checking in, free at leisure.

Day 2: Beijing. Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am and transferred to Tiananmen Square - the largest downtown square in the world. Then we will enter the Forbidden City, the abode of 24 Ming and Qing emperors of the celestial Empire, the forbidden city is a fittingly awe-inspiring sight, enclosed behind it’s moat and 9.9 m high walls are 980 buildings, vast courtyards and long corridors that occupy a total area of 720,000 square meters. It’s alleged that as many as 1,000,000 workers and 100,000 artisans participated in the construction of this imperial palace, which began in 1406 and was completed in 1420 during the reign of Ming dynasty, the last emperor Puyi, left the Forbidden city in 1924,11 years after his abdication and the establishment of the Republic of China, after Puyi’s departure, the Forbidden city, which had long been off-limits to most mortals, was opened to the public, Hence its current Chinese name, gugong bowuyuan, meaning "the palace Museum".

After lunch in local restaurant, visit Temple of Heaven. Day 3: Beijing. Go to visit famous cloisonne factory or jade factory on the way to Great Wall. The Ming Tomb: The tombs of 13 Ming dynasty emperors and their consorts are scattered in a gorgeous valley 45 km northwest of Beijing, all but three of the Ming emperors lies in Nanjing, the tomb of the second emperor remains unknown as he had his throne usurped by his uncle and another emperor was considered illegitimate and wasn’t given the honor of an imperial tomb. Enjoy a Chinese typical dinner. In the evening (7:15~8:30 pm), enjoy the Chinese Acrobat, or Chinese Kongfu show, choose one show from these three options, depending on your interest. Day 4: Beijing to Lhasa. Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Lhasa. Includes: (B).

Day 5: Lhasa. Take a flight to Lhasa, upon arrival, meet and transfer to downtown (about 2 hours, 100 km) along with sightseeing of Tibet village. You will have a rest in your hotel this afternoon to adapt plateau climates. Meet at Lhasa airport, then send to hotel to adapt plateau climate. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 6: Lhasa. After breakfast, visit the highest palace in the world - Potala Palace. Perched upon Marpo Ri hill, 130 meters above the Lhasa valley, the Potala Palace rises a further 170 meters and is the greatest monumental structure in all of Tibet. The Potala Palace in Lhasa was the primary residence of the Dalai Lama until 1959, when the 14th Dalai Lama fled to Dharamsala after a failed uprising. Today the Potala Palace is a state museum, a popular tourist attraction, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was also recently named one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World" by the American television show Good Morning America and the newspaper USA Today.

After lunch, visit Jokhang Temple built in the 7th century, and then go to Barkhor Street. Barkhor, a circular street at the center of Old Lhasa, is the oldest street in a very traditional city in Tibet. It is a place where Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts assemble and a place to which a visit must be paid. Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet. Everyday, pilgrims from every corner of Tibet trek a long distance to the temple. Some of them progress by prostrating themselves throughout their journey until they reach the threshold of the temple. Pilgrims kindle butter lamps with yak butter, or honor the deities with white scarves (Kha-btags or Hada) while murmuring sacred mantras to show their pieties to the Buddha. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 7: Lhasa. Nam Co is one of the 3 holy lakes in Tibet. In Tibetan Nam Co means "heavenly lake"; while in Mongolian it means "Temgeli Sea". With an elevation of 4,718 meters, it measures 70 km East-West and 30 km South-North. It is 33 meters at its deepest. With an area of l,920 square km, it is the highest salt-water lake in the word, and the second largest of its kind in China. after Visit the famous Yangpachen Geothermal Power Station after breakfast, and go back to Lhasa in afternoon. Day 8: Lhasa. The Lake Baksum Tso is situated in Tsongo village, Kongpo Gyamda County, Nyingtri prefecture, Tibet autonomous region, China. It is surrounded by mountains, and has a moderate climate with wonderful landscapes. The average altitude of the lake is 3,538 meters with 15 kilometers in length, 2.5 kilometers in width, and 166 meters at the deepest in depth, "Baksum Tso" literally means "a lake situated amid three rocky mountains" in Tibetan. It is 44 kilometers form the Sichuan-Tibet highway, and 370 kilometers from Lhasa. Then to Nyingchi. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 9 Lhasa. Giant Cypress Forest: It is here in Bajie village that a giant cypress Nature Reserve was built. Here all luxuriant cypresses are grown in a grove, the biggest being over 4.46 m in circumference and 46 m in height. The projection of the cypress shade covers an area of more than one mu. According to survey, this cypress has a history of 2,000-2,500 years and is named “the sacred Cypress" and local people protect it. It is said that this cypress is the soul of the Bon ancestor Sherab Miwoche. That is why a lot of prayer flags are always hung over these ancient giant trees. In the forest, there are also many stone carvings of prayers are piled and many pilgrims from afar come to pay homage. Lamaling Monastery located in Buchu village, Nyingtri County, belongs to the Red Sect. The monastery has super location. Mountains surround it to three sides and face a limpid stream flowing by the hillside with luxuriant green trees and a magnificent landscape with overlapping hills. After return to Lhasa. Day 10: Lhasa. After breakfast, visit one of the holy lakes Yamzhog Yumco, Kanuola Glacier and Gyangze, outdoor scene of the movie "Red River Valley". You will have a long sight of the Zong Mountain site of Gyangze anti-British battle in 1904 and Palkor Monastery. Includes: (B), (L).

Day 11: Lhasa. After breakfast, visit Tashilunpo Monastery, imperial palace of Panchen Lama. Includes: (B), (L).
