China’s top tourist sites will form an alliance in Sanya, Hainan during the ongoing Boao International Tourism Forum, in an effort to enhance the brands of these tourist sites and the cities they are located, it was announced at a press conference yesterday.

The alliance, a non-profitable organization, aims to further promote the overall development of cities in which the 5A tourism sites are located and build excellent tourism brand for these cities.

China now has 67 5A tourist sites spread in 55 cities.

More than 180 representatives from these tourist attractions and the cities will attend the ceremony to form the alliance.

They will explore the mechanism of collaboration and how to deal with various emergencies. The overall domestic and international promotion and publicity activities of alliance members will be planned.
