The hot areas for traveling during the coming Golden Week are Beijing, East China, destinations along the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway. Most tourists choose February 3 to 5 (the first and the third day of the Lunar New Year) as the best departure date for traveling.

Prices for domestic tour packages drop by 20-30 percent

According to the current prices for domestic airline and hotel reservations, it is estimated that prices for domestic tour packages will drop by 20-30 percent after February 5 (the third day of the Lunar New Year). Therefore, tourists are suggested to avoid the travel peak between February 3 and 5.

Pay attention to the 'deadline' for travel registrations

During the Chunyun period or Spring Festival travel season, take the ticket reservation of Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway for example, tourists have to reserve it 10 days before departure. Tourists are given a hint to know about the travel routes in advance and make registrations as early as possible.
