The Houmuwu Rectangle Tetrapod used by imperial families in the late Shang Dynasty (1600 BC–1046 BC) exhibited in the new exhibition hall of China's National Museum. The new exhibition hall officially opened to the public on Thursday after a year of preparation. The construction of the new hall was completed last year in March and now houses over one million relics. The new addition makes the National Museum of China the world's largest, covering around 200,000 square meters. [Photo:CRIENGLISH.com] |
