The photo shows the glaze ice in Hukou Waterfall in Jixian County, China’s Shanxi Province, on Dec. 8, 2012. Affected by the continuous dropping temperature, glaze ice have appeared, which is a smooth, transparent and homogeneous ice coating occurring when freezing rain or drizzle hits a surface. Located at the intersection of Shanxi Province and Shaanxi Province, the Hukou Waterfall is the largest waterfall on the Yellow River and the second largest waterfall in China after the Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guzhou Province.
