CNMC Ningxia Orient Group?recently gained official recognition as one of the 55 national mode companies in technology innovation, according to a file released by the Ministry of Industry and Information.
The group company?is one of the world's three largest companies specialized in smelting and processing tantalum. It is also a national high-tech enterprise, a base for industrializing the achievements of the 863 Program, and the biggest enterprise in China that researches on and produces tantalum and niobium.
The company enjoys 60 solely-developed patent technologies; it has solely researched and developed more than 90 percent of its products, of which tantalum powder and tantalum wires reach the advanced international standards. The comprehensive quality and the market share of the company's tantalum wires rank first in the world, and those of tantalum powder the second. The company exports about 20 products such as tantalum products, niobium products, aluminum fluoride.
