A total of 7 foreign-funded enterprises were introduced in the city of Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, during the first quarter of this year, with the investment volume totaling US$ 161.46 million, according to the Yinchuan Municipal Bureau of Economic and Technological Cooperation and Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs on May 12.
The actual foreign capital inflow into the city totaled US$ 71.69 million during the same period, up by 63.4 percent year on year. The investment came from over 40 countries and regions around the world. Investments from Hong Kong and Taiwan kept the leading positions, accounting for 40.6 percent and 10.3 percent respectively of the total volume.
