Tattoos are now so pervasive that even Beijing office babes are getting inked. And it's not just anchors and skulls anymore (favorites of many a sailor and outlaw) – from Celtic designs to personalized symbols, people have found many ways to express themselves with their tattoos. Tattoo artist Tian Ju has recently opened a new tattoo studio; working alongside four other qualified tattoo artists, Tian Ju offers personal and reassuring service, consulting fully with clients at every stage of the process. Tattoos are relatively pricey, starting from RMB 500 depending on the size and degree of difficulty, but for something so permanent and painful, this isn’t really the sort of thing you should cut corners on.
