South Korea will build a 6,000-square-meter pavilion, one of the largest at World Expo 2010, to showcase a splendid lifestyle, officials disclosed. The surface of the pavilion will feature South Korean characters letting visitors savor the Asian country's culture from every aspect, officials with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency said yesterday in discussions with Huang Jianzhi, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.
It will be the largest exhibit in South Korea's history in world expositions, the delegation told Huang. Huang said the initiative of introducing South Korean characters on the pavilion was unique and innovative. The organizer will offer every convenience to the country, Huang pledged.
