When he accepted the gifts from all the countries in the pavilion, Zhu said excitedly, "It's really a big surprise for us. We didn't expect so much when we came into the pavilion. It was the fancy look, beautiful color of the building, and the atmosphere of great passion attracted us here. We will look at the exhibits carefully and appreciate the cultures of the Pacific countries."
It was also an important day for the pavilion, because the expo bureau expected to have 70 million visitors during the expo in the last six month, and the target of Pacific Pavilion was to reach 10 percent of that number, and they did it, according to an official from the pavilion.
Dancers from Pacific countries including Tuvalu, Kiribati and Cook Islands also joined the celebration ceremony.
