Also for sale are 45 items that once belonged to Elvis Presley. Among the most personal items are his prescription bottles. A few of the bottles are dated August 15, 1977, one day before Elvis died. Many of the items in this sale come from the collection of Presley's personal doctor.
Darren Julien, President & CEO, Julien's Auctions, said, "What we have here is highlights from the collection of Dr. Nick, who was Elvis Presley's doctor and a very close friend and confidant of Elvis Presley. Dr. Nick was actually accused of Elvis' murder after he died of a drug overdose."
Julien's Auctions will hold its summer entertainment sale on June 26th and 27th at the Planet Hollywood resort and casino in Las Vegas.
