US President, Barack Obama, has arrived in the Chinese capital Beijing, continuing his first visit to China since taking office early this year.
Air Force One, carrying the president and his delegation, touched down at the Beijing Capital International Airport, about two hours ago. They were received by Vice President, Xi Jinping. Foreign Minister, Yang Jiechi, and Chinese Ambassador to the US, Zhou Wenzhong, were also on hand.
Senior US officials in the delegation include Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Commerce, Gary Locke and Secretary of Energy, Steven Chu. When Barack Obama meets President Hu Jintao, it will be their third meeting this year.
