Wang Meng dominates women's 1000m at World Championships

China's short track speed skating star Wang Meng stormed to victory in the women's 1000m at the World Championships in Bulgaria.
Wang got off to a trademark start, surging ahead to take control. She began to pull away later on and never looked back.
In the third lap, US skater Rutter was tryin to overcome, but the Olympic champion steadied her skates and left no chances to the American.
In the last second lap, another South Korean skater was also trying to overcome Wang. She continued to hold on to a narrow margin in a time of 1 minutes 31.603 seconds.
This is the third time she dominated the 1000m event in the World Championships after snatching three gold medals in the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
