At least 5 protestors have been killed in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan after clashing with police forces in front of the Presidential Palace. The mass protests began on Tuesday in the northern town of Talas, and spread to the capital on Wednesday.
About 10 thousand protesters are marching towards the heart of the capital, after breaking a police check point in the outskirts of the city. The Prime Minister, Daniyar Usenov, accused the opposition for "deliberately masterminding" Tuesday's unrest. The country's Interior Minister said Tuesday evening that the unrest in Talas has been brought under control. He said police have arrested a key opposition party leader, and will send him to the capital for further questioning. About 1,000 protestors stormed the regional government building on Tuesday afternoon. They were later dispersed by police.
