A series of heavy rain storms, has caused severe flooding in southern China's Guangdong province, damaging cities and the countryside.
The flooding has affected regions in the north and east of Guangdong, killing at least 19 people, with 6 others still missing.
More than 80,000 people have been relocated and just over 10-thousand residential buildings have been destroyed. The province's civil affairs department has sent thousands of quilts and blankets and clothing to the flood-stricken areas. Meanwhile, China's disaster relief authorities launched an emergency response plan on Monday to cope with the flooding in Guangdong province.
