The Italy Pavilion held its first fashion show last night. Lace, long skirts, leopard print and eye-catching cutout designs all served to showcase the flair Italian designers are known for. The 30 handmade clothes were designed by a young Italian designer, Anton Giulio Grande.
Jewellery from Calabria in southern Italy was also exhibited which is well known for its traditional craftsmanship. The Italy Pavilion which features many top luxury brands, will present one or two fashion shows each month during the Expo.
