Students in landslide ravaged Zhouqu County in northwest China's Gansu province will be able to go back to school to start the new term next Wednesday August 25th. Parents will be able to enroll their children in primary or middle school.
On the gate of a local Zhouqu school, there is a note with two colors. On the left, it's black symbolizing the sadness of the past. On the other side, it's white, encouraging students to live happy and learn positively. Students say they are looking forward to returning to school much earlier than they expected. Family of students who cannot access the school due to damaged road can enroll over the phone.
