15 severely injured people in the plane crash in Yichun city, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, have been airlifted to the provincial capital, Harbin, for treatment.
The survivors arrived late Wednesday at Taiping International Airport in Harbin.
Eight of them are suffering from severe respiratory tract burns.
An official at the provincial health authority says it is still not clear if the injured are out of life-threatening conditions.
The survivors were immediately transferred to four key hospitals in the city.
Some are now receiving treatment at the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University.
Meanwhile, some of the less severely injured passengers are continuing receiving their treatment in Yichun City.
The passenger jet carrying ninety-six people crashed at Yichun City airport late Tuesday.
The plane was trying to land when it missed a runway amid heavy fog and crashed, bursting into flames.
Forty-two people were killed in the accident but, amazingly, the remaining fifty-four survived.
