WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange has been freed on bail. He had stayed nine days in a London jail over alleged sex offences.
After the release, Assange said he wanted to press on with his work releasing U.S. cables and that he is innocent. High Court Justice Duncan Ouseley earlier decided the 39-year-old Australian could be freed on bail of 200-thousand pounds and under strict conditions. These include abiding by a curfew, reporting to police daily and wearing an electronic tag. Assange is the target of US fury over WikiLeaks' release of secret diplomatic cables.
