South Korea and the United States have begun their annual joint military drills amid continuing tensions on the Korean peninsula.
The 11-day joint maneuver, code named Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, draws about 200,000 usand South Korean and almost 13,000 US troops. South Korean officials say a US aircraft carrier will join one of the exercises. Key Resolve, mainly involving computer simulation, will last until March 10th.
