A new Guinness World Record has been set for the biggest water gun fight ever. Wednesday's gathering in Bangkok featured more than 34-hundred people, participating in a 10-minute "soakdown."
Thousands of Thai natives and foreign tourists, armed with colorful toy guns, met outside one of the capital's largest shopping malls and started squirting. The event was part of the country's annual Songkran Water Festival.
As the celebration kicked off, the slingers took aim with their liquid weapons of choice, and began drenching each other all over the 3,000 square meter plaza.
The yearly party takes place across the nation, with many people embarking on long vacations, to fully enjoy the aquatic ambience.
