The statistics are shocking.
China has an estimated more than 300 million smokers. And more than 700 million people are routinely exposed to harmful second-hand smoke.
And women all over the world are in a vulnerable position.
Figures from the World Health Organization show that smoking-related diseases take the lives of more than 1.5 million women over 20 years old every year. If no measures are taken, the number will rise by 1 million in 2030. Three quarters of them are in developing countries. In China, second-hand smoke kills more than 100-thousand people every single year.

It is estimated that about 300 million adult women in China are constantly exposed to second-hand smoke.
Experts say that working in a smoke-filled office for eight hours is the equivalent to smoking 6 cigarettes.
