The auction includes Lee's business cards, a hand-written letter and a long dark Chinese-style jacket worn by him.

The most valuable item is believed to be a 2-page hand written letter from Lee to his star student and dear friend, Taky Kimura.

The letter has an estimated value of 25,000 to over 38,000 US dollars.

The Chinese-style jacket is also drawing a lot of attention.

He had worn it to the Hong Kong premier of "Enter the Dragon," just a few days before his untimely death.

The value of the coat is estimated at 13,000 to 19,000 US dollars.

Kelleher Auctions decided to hold the auction in Lee's hometown because they believe the items will obtain the highest market value there.

David Coogle, Director of Kelleher Auctions, said, "We thought that someone in the Asia market place would truly appreciate Hong Kong's favorite son, Bruce Lee. So we thought this material would seek its best level of sale and have the potential to stay in the Asian market place, where I think everyone would agree it belongs."

The total sale from the auction is conservatively estimated at approximately 102,000 US dollars.

The auction will be the biggest since 1993.

Owner of Phila China Limited Anna Lee said, "This is the largest offering of Bruce Lee's memorabilia in a long time, to be offered in public auction, in particular in HK. The last time, as far as we can recall, is back in 1993 in Los Angeles with the widow of Bruce Lee offering over 200 items of his material."

Before being auctioned off, the items are open for public viewing.

Some of Lee's fans have come for a glimpse of these treasured items.
