Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying has expressed China's hopes for the new Japanese cabinet.

Hua Chunying, Spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry, said, "China and Japan are important neighbors. A healthy and stable Sino-Japanese relationship meets the fundamental interests of the two countries. We hope the new Japanese government can work together with China and make real efforts to overcome the difficulties and get the bilateral relationship back on track.
