Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has arrived in the US, for talks with Secretary of State John Kerry. Kerry has already welcomed Wang Yi at the State Department.

The pair are expected to discuss China-US relations and a number of regional and global issues. The US State Department says the two sides will have an "in-depth exchange of views" on international and regional issues.
Following three days of high level talks in Washington DC, Wang will lead the Chinese delegation at the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly next week. He’ll also address the general debate. Wang is expected to set out the principles of the Chinese government’s diplomatic thinking.... along with its views on the current international landscape, and major global and regional issues.
