Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has arrived in New York for the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Upon his arrival, Premier Li said China is an active supporter of all UN causes, and strongly defends the purposes and principles of the UN Charter.
He also said China actively participates in the work of the UN.
During his stay in New York, Premier Li will outline China's stance on major issues including international order, global governance, and peace and development.
He is also expected to hold talks with state leaders on the sidelines of the event.
Afterward, he will leave for official visits to Canada and Cuba.
