During his visit to Canada, Li Keqiang visited the Bell Center to meet professional ice hockey team, the Montreal Canadians. Together with Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Li was presented with a team jersey by former players.

The two leaders also met a group of young hockey players at the center. Founded in 1909, the Montreal Canadiens is the oldest continuously operating professional ice hockey team in the world.
