Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in California Thursday for a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama, which, analysts said, would help promote the long-term, sound and steady development of China-U.S. relations.
The China-U.S. summit, the first since Xi took office in March, will be held Friday and Saturday at Sunnylands, the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Estate.
At the summit, Xi and Obama are expected to exchange views on domestic and foreign policies, as well as issues of pivotal importance and regional and international issues of common concern, Chinese officials said.?
