Iran on Thursday delivered its response on a nuclear fuel deal aimed at third-party enrichment of uranium for a Tehran reactor to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), state-owned Arabic language Al-Alam TV reported.
"The Islamic Republic continues talks (with IAEA) over providing nuclear fuel with a positive view," Iran's envoy to the UN nuclear watchdog, Ali-Asghar Soltanieh, was quoted as saying.
"In these talks which encompass solely the technical views between Iran and IAEA, economic and technical considerations of Islamic Republic over the ways of providing fuel for the research reactor should be taken into account," Soltanieh said.
