An earthquake with magnitude of 6. 7 rocked Maluku province in eastern parts of Indonesia on Saturday, no tsunami warning was issued, the country's Meteorology and Geophysics Agency reported.
The quake occurred at 15:57 p.m. Jakarta time (0815 GMT) with epicenter at km 152 northwest Tual of the province and with the depth at 67 km under sea bed, an official of the agency Bayu Pranata told Xinhua over phone.
Indonesia sits on a vulnerable quake-hit zone so called the " Pacific Ring of Fire".
