A strong aftershock measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit Chile on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The latest tremor occurred at 08:08 a.m. (1108 GMT) 110 km northwest of Chile's second-largest Concepcion, which was rocked by an 8.8-magnitude earthquake on Feb. 27.
The Chilean government put the confirmed death toll of the massive quake at 529.
