Road accident in Afghanistan northeast Takhar province left four persons dead and injured 26 others on Tuesday, a local official said.
"A passenger bus collided with a truck in Kalafgan district at noon time today as a result four persons were killed and 26 others including women and children sustained injures," spokesman of provincial administration Faiz Mohammad Tawhidi told Xinhua.
All the injured have been taken to nearby hospitals, he said and added the condition of two injured men are critical.
The reason for the mishap was the reckless driving, the official further said.
Although there is no statistics about the figures of those killed in road accidents in Afghanistan annually, the casualties of road accidents, is said to be hundreds in Afghanistan.
