The Polish government said Thursday that forensic experts have identified the last 21 bodies among the victims killed in the plane crash that claimed the life of President Lech Kaczynski.
The bodies will be flown from Moscow to Warsaw on Friday afternoon, according to the government press center.
Polish Prime Minister's chief advisor, Minister Michal Boni said that a brief ceremony will be held at the airport. The minister added that successive funeral ceremonies will take place on Saturday and days to come.
Polish Health Minister Ewa Kopacz confirmed that the identification process of all victims of the crash has been concluded. Kopacz took part in the last phase of the identification process together with her Russian counterpart Tatyana Golikova.
The April 10 crash of the Polish presidential plane claimed the lives of 96 persons, including President Kaczynski and his wife Maria.
