Eight people, including two teenagers, were killed when a group of armed men stormed a bar in the northern Mexican city of Ciudad Juarez Tuesday night, the authorities said on Wednesday.
There were some 30 people at the bar when the attack occurred, the Prosecutor's Office of Chihuahua state said in a statement issued on Wednesday. Ciudad Juarez, bordering the U.S. state of Texas, is part of Chihuahua State.
Witnesses said that the hit men separated the victims before killing them.
The preliminary investigation showed that all the slain were under 25 years old and two of them under 18.
Ciudad Juarez is notorious for rampant violence among criminal cartels.
