Australian protesters on Tuesday have been burning candles and waving flags outside the Israeli Embassy in Canberra, in condemnation of the deadly attack on flotilla bound for Gaza.
About 70 people gathered on the lawns outside the embassy on Tuesday evening and candles were placed around a banner that reads "End the occupation now!"
Police has been stationed outside the gate of the embassy.
Israel has attracted international criticism after attacking a fleet of ships that sailed from Turkey in an attempt to bring humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
Four Australian people were in Israeli detention after attempting to travel with the flotilla, while the fifth has been treated in hospital for a gunshot wound.
