Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao held talks on Thursday with Myanmar Prime Minister U Thein Sein in Myanmar's capital of Naypyitaw.
The two prime ministers also witnessed a signing ceremony of 15 cooperation documents covering areas such as a natural gas pipeline, hydropower station and grant aid.
Premier Wen arrived in Yangon on Wednesday afternoon, the first visit to Myanmar by a Chinese premier in 16 years.
Wen flew to Naypyitaw Thursday morning for talks with Thein Sein and a meeting with Senior General Than Shwe, chairman of the State Peace and Development Council. Wen and Thein Sein will also attend celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two neighboring countries.
Myanmar is Wen's last leg of his four-nation Asia tour, which has taken him to South Korea, Japan and Mongolia.
