Thailand's weekly cabinet on Tuesday extended the state of emergency in capital Bangkok and 18 other provinces for 90 more days and lifted the emergency in five provinces, the Nation online reported.
Earlier, the Nation online said the cabinet resolved to extend the state of emergency in Bangkok and 23 other provinces for 90 more days.
The Thai cabinet approved the proposal of the government's Center for Resolution of State of Emergency (CRES) to extend the state of emergency in the capital and 18 other provinces of Thailand's total 76 provinces on ground that the situation was still worrying.
