An Iranian judiciary official denied on Wednesday the execution of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, the official IRNA news agency reported.
Earlier, some reports said the woman was already executed in Iran's northwestern Tabriz city.
The 43-year-old Ashtiani has been on death row in Iran since 2006. Her case become internationally known in 2010 after high profile reports that she was convicted of extramarital affairs and sentenced to execution by stoning.
