The death toll from flood in Thailand which has hit the country for more than a month has risen to 227, said government's report on Tuesday.
The department said a total of 155 people in the northern, northeastern, eastern and central plains and 72 in southern provinces lost their lives in widespread flooding.
Heavy flood, caused by a combination of heavy rainfall and water released from overloaded reservoirs, has hit Thailand since October 10 especially in the Northeast and the South.
