At least 15 people were killed in a suicide bomb attack in northwestern Pakistan on Wednesday, police said.
Many others were injured as the blast targeted the crowded Tirah bazaar in Kohat, a city some 60 kilometers south of Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province.
Police officer Dilawar Khan Bangash said the suicide bomber detonated his bomb at a bus station in front of a barber shop, where many people were to board buses for the tribal region of Orakzai.
More than 30 shops were damaged in the huge explosion, witnesses said.
Rescue teams rushed to the site and several injured people were shifted to the main hospital in Kohat.
