Troops loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi launched on Friday another bombardment against oil facilities in the eastern town of Ras Lanuf, Al-Jazeera news network reported.
The TV said the government now recaptured the city while rebels still controlled oil facilities and the residential area of the oil port and were fighting government tanks as well as troops who landed by boat.
Libya's official TV showed footages of Gaddafi's forces retaking the city.
