At least 28 people were killed in an explosion at a weapon storage in overnight street battles in Yemen's capital, the country's Defense Ministry said Thursday.
Meanwhile, a security official confirmed that government forces fired mortar shells and destroyed the headquarters of the opposition satellite TV station Suhail in Hassaba district in downtown Sanaa.
Nonstop clashes continued on Thursday to rock Hassaba area. An opposition official said at least 79 of al-Ahmar fighters were killed during overnight clashes.
