Both governments and civil society, compulsion and voluntarism, should work together. The entire community should be educated to enhance their awareness of eco-preservation and environmental protection so that they will practice it accordingly in daily life, also said Keo Puth Rasmey, chairman of the Disciplinary and Party Council of Cambodia's Funcinpec Party.
Asia should strengthen green finance and investment, promote green technology innovation and facilitate trade in green goods and services. Only when the overall society realizes the importance of green economy can the country achieve a balance between economy and environment.
Participants shared their views on and knowledge of green development in Asia at the ICAPP Special Conference. The conference gathered over 150 Asian party leaders, entrepreneurs and researchers.
