A terrorist attack on the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi on Sept. 21 left 72 people dead, including five of the alleged terrorists, and 170 injured. Somali militant group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack, the bloodiest assault in Kenya since the U.S. Embassy was bombed in 1998.
