A desperate French young mother killed her daughters aged up to 3 years old before hanging herself in Saint-Gelais, in west France, a local daily reported Monday.

Police found the 22-year-old woman who was dead on Sunday and discovered the bodies of three girls aged 3 years, 2 years and 17 days who according to the initial elements they have been strangled, Le Parisien said.

According to the report, the mother wrote a letter explaining the reasons of her suicide and detailing the funeral arrangements.

The incident came after the husband killed himself late in January due to work and financial problems. Endi
