The city is also historically famous for containing the world’s largest production by volume of socks and zippers. These days however, an increasing array of sophisticated products, from snacks to cosmetics to electronics to contemporary furniture to artwork, can be found. It is said that if one spent eight hours per day browsing the market, it would take over a year to visit every vendor. [Photo: Corey Cooper/China.org.cn]
